Directions and Parking Options

By Car:

Take the A8 highway from Munich to Salzburg, passing the Chiemsee on your left. Exit the highway at Grabenstätt and take the third exit at the roundabout towards Chieming. Drive through the next roundabout and continue following the signs to Chieming. Drive through Chieming and stay on the main road. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards Sondermoning.

Turn left in Sondermoning and follow the signs towards Hart (2 km). In Hart, turn left at the first opportunity (behind the church) and after 200 meters, turn left again into Kellerstraße. After another 50 meters, the Jonathan Seminar Hotel will be on your left.

Alternative Route during Heavy Traffic on the Highway:

Take the road from Munich via Wasserburg, continuing to Rabenden, Seon, and Truchtlaching. Turn right in the center of Truchtlaching towards Seebruck. After 2 km, turn left towards Chieming and Tabing. In Tabing, turn right at the second opportunity towards Hart.

Parking:

The seminar hotel has a field on its grounds that provides ample space for all vehicles, even for seminars with many participants.

By Plane:

From Munich or Salzburg airports, you can take a bus or S-Bahn to the main train station. From there, take a train to Traunstein. Upon request, we can arrange a transfer from or to the airport for you.

By Train:

The Traunstein station offers direct connections to Salzburg, Munich, Karlsruhe, Hamburg, Nuremberg, and Berlin.

By Taxi: Our partner, Taxi Schwarzenlander, can take you to the seminar hotel in about 15 minutes for approximately €30.

By Bus from Traunstein to Hart: Line 9522 towards Obing or Schnaitsee. To find bus schedules from Traunstein station, enter "Traunstein" to "Hart bei Sondermoning" in the search bar of the German railway website. Please note, only a few buses operate daily. Some take long detours, while others take around 18 minutes, such as the ones from Traunstein to Hart: Monday to Friday at 12:35, 13:15, 16:45, and 17:20, and on Saturdays at 12:30. The bus stop is about a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
